DESCRIPTION
According to the production process, silicon steel can be divided into hot rolled and cold rolled silicon steel, hot rolled silicon steel is low utilization rate, large energy loss, has been gradually phased out. Cold rolled silicon steel is divided into oriented and unoriented silicon steel according to the orientation of the internal grain.
Oriented silicon steel grains basically in the same direction, silicon content is high, mainly used in transformer manufacturing. Unoriented silicon steel is mainly used in motor manufacturing because of its disorganized grain distribution and low silicon content. The silicon content is generally bounded by 3%; Cold – rolled silicon steel is divided into cold – rolled non – oriented silicon steel and cold – rolled oriented silicon steel.
