DESCRIPTION
Non – oriented silicon steel sheet is hot rolled billet or continuous casting billet into a thickness of about 2.3mm coil. For low-silicon products, hot rolled rolls are cold rolled to 0.5mm thick after pickling. For the manufacture of high silicon products, after pickling in hot rolling (or after normalizing at 800 ~ 850℃ and then pickling), cold rolled to 0.55 or 0.37mm thick, annealed at 850℃ in a continuous furnace with hydrogen and nitrogen mixture atmosphere, and then cold rolled to 0.50 or 0.35mm thick at a low reduction rate of 6 ~ 10%. The small reduction rate of cold rolling can make the grain grow and the iron loss decrease during annealing.
